Job Summary
The role of Physical Security Coordinator plays a crucial part in maintaining the safety and security of facilities and personnel. As a key member of the Physical Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of store openings, renovations, relocations, closings, and other project rollouts.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive support to the Physical Security Manager during various project phases;
• Communicate effectively with vendors on all installations for security equipment;
• Coordinate and manage all physical security requests and emergencies, including alarms, cameras, EAS, anti-theft devices, safes, keys, and security guards;
• Monitor and maintain all physical security equipment to ensure optimal functionality;
• Analyze and troubleshoot Jira requests promptly and accurately document all findings;
• Dispatch suitable subcontractors for service calls, prioritizing reasonable costs and efficient solutions;
• Maintain up-to-date records of all security equipment;
• Support Head Office requests, including access cards, ID cards, security guards, visitors, and security apps;
• Generate reports for access cards, alarms, cameras, and turnstile systems;
• Respond to emergency calls received on the security cell phone for Head Office and stores (after-hours security guards);
• Review security camera footage to support investigations and ensure safety protocols are upheld;
• Collaborate with management to develop and enforce effective security protocols;
• Participate in the Head Office's emergency evacuation team.
