Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Care Delivery: Assist in implementing therapy plans by guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and treatments.
• Equipment Management: Prepare, sanitize, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Progress Monitoring: Document patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Provide instruction and encouragement to patients and families about exercises and therapy goals.
• Collaboration: Work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to ensure effective and compliant treatment.
Qualifications:
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in physical therapy settings is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
