Physical Therapy_Medical Billing
Job Title: Billing & AR Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Daily billing of electronic claims from Webpt Billing.
2. Daily attention to outstanding A/R using various aging reports.
3. Calls to insurance when needed to resolve payment/denial issues.
4. Calls to patients when needed to resolve insurance & patient payment issues.
5. Collect and apply patient payments made over the phone.
6. Alert Billing supervisor of any refunds that need to be issued.
7. Answer multi-line telephone, take accurate messages, screen and direct telephone calls and provide general information in a professional manner.
8. Accomplish tasks in patient accounts as assigned by the billing manager and re-follow up as required.
Skills:
Previous experience in medical billing and/or physical therapy specifically highly recommended
Excellent written and verbal communication
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Fulltime :Mon-Friday 5:30pm-2:30am
