I am working with Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, Alaska and they have an urgent General Surgery locum tenens coverage need October 12th-21st. I wanted to see if you might have any availability to help out and provide coverage for this emergency need. The job details are below and please let me know if you have any interest in being presented to this particular job opportunity.Providence Kodiak Island Medical CenterKodiak, AlaskaProvidence St Joseph Health facilityLocumsmart vendor management job25 bed facility2 ICU bedsLevel 4 Trauma CenterThis facility has an urgent 24 hour call coverage need October 12th-21st24 hour call 7a-7a each This is a Trauma Call needAverage of 4-5 cases per day Average of 1-2 admissions per day Average of 1-3 surgeries per dayProcedures required: Laparoscopic surgery, Hernioplasty, C-Sections, and D&C80 % Adult cases15% Pediatric cases5% Trauma Cases3 RN's on call2 full-time General Surgeons are in the practice, but the locums physician would be covering for one of the full-time surgeonsThe candidate must have BLS,ACLS,ATLS CPR certificationsEMR: EPICEmergency privileging available hour call rate$300 per hour for any hour worked in the facility on top of the 24 hour call rate Zach Worley Recruiting RepresentativeThe Talent Societyo. c. f. w.
