Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist, your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients with pain, physical problems, disabilities, and injuries. You will use various therapeutic techniques and exercises to help patients regain mobility, improve their physical functions, and enhance their overall quality of life. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating patient records and documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of treatments and progress.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical problems, disabilities, and injuries.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the assessment findings and the individual needs and goals of each patient.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic techniques, exercises, and interventions to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance physical functions.
• Educate and guide patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and preventive measures to promote ongoing progress and well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques, modalities, and research to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards of practice, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
• Proven experience in providing physiotherapy treatments, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
• Familiarity with a wide range of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Empathy, compassion, and patience to work with patients experiencing pain, disabilities, and injuries.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
