Piano & Vocal Coach – Group Lessons (Ages 4–9)
Schedule: 2 days per week
Hours: 3 hours per day
About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic and nurturing Piano and Vocal Coach to lead small group music lessons for children ages 4–9. This role focuses on making music fun, engaging, and confidence-building while introducing foundational piano and vocal skills.
This is a great fit for someone who loves working with kids, enjoys teaching in a group setting, and understands how young learners thrive through play, structure, and encouragement.
Responsibilities
Lead group piano and vocal lessons for children ages 4–9
Teach basic piano skills, vocal technique, rhythm, pitch, and musical listening
Use age-appropriate methods, games, and activities to keep students engaged
Encourage participation, creativity, and confidence in young musicians
Manage group dynamics in a positive and structured way
Communicate progress and needs with program staff or parents as needed
Prepare simple lesson plans for each session
Qualifications
Experience teaching piano and/or voice to young children
Comfortable leading group lessons
Strong classroom management skills for early childhood ages
Patient, upbeat, and encouraging teaching style
Reliable and consistent availability for scheduled days
Preferred (but not required)
Degree or coursework in music, music education, or early childhood education
Experience with ages 4–9 in a teaching or coaching role
Ability to accompany vocals on piano
Background in creative or play-based learning
