Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and client-centred Pilates Instructor (Contractor) to join our team on a casual basis, with the intention to grow to part time and/or full time. This role is ideal for someone looking to build experience, gain independence, and enjoy flexibility in how and when they work. The role includes opportunities to run small mat pilates group classes as well as 1:1 sessions for a more diverse working environment.
As a new and growing clinic, we will work with you to gradually build the client load you are seeking. You can expect supportive guidance without pressure or micromanagement as your caseload develops.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based clinical Pilates instruction to a diverse caseload
Run small group classes (4-6 people) focused on therapeutic exercise, core strength, and functional movement
Conduct individual Pilates sessions tailored to client needs and goals
Maintain professional and clinical documentation in line with industry best practice
Collaborate with the owner and allied health team to support client progress and clinic flow
Contribute to a supportive, friendly, and patient-focused environment

Essential Requirements
Pilates Certification: Comprehensive Pilates instructor certification
Professional Indemnity Insurance: Current professional indemnity insurance appropriate for the scope of practice
Public Liability Insurance: Current public liability insurance coverage
ABN: Australian Business Number and capacity to work as a contractor
Current First Aid and CPR certification
About You
Qualified Pilates Instructor with comprehensive certification
Confident delivering group-based classes and working with diverse populations including older adults and rehabilitation clients
Passionate about movement, functional training, and evidence-based practice
Experience in clinical/rehabilitation Pilates highly regarded
Warm, personable, and able to foster strong rapport with clients
Reliable, organised, and honest
Committed to maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development
