Shaping and driving the banks Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) strategy, Pillar 4 is a key vehicle for simplifying the technology landscape and reducing the technology cost base to ratio expected by the financial markets. We intend that, by creating a culture of collaboration and understanding, with consistent working practices and financial validation across all CIO teams, we enable the banks wider community to achieve verifiable commercial benefits from investments. TT&I;’s intent is to expand the strategic, delivery focussed, commercially accountable team ethos, one that we are proud to be part of.
Key responsibilities
As a core team member, and the lead technical member of the team you will responsible for shaping and delivering the management information to enable meaning execution reporting for the pillar 4 portfolio. This is not a greenfield site, systems exist ( NAR , Walz , OneMI, Apptio, Clarity ) and the role is to champion the design , delivery and production activation of the tooling required to deliver the banks technology simplification. You will be gaining broad experience across the bank, handling data from the entire firm since Pillar 4 is a Key Deliverable for Deutsche Bank, reporting to the P4 & P5 Steerco, and Transformation Committee, with periodic inputs to Joint Supervisory Taskforce updates and as such your role will be part of a team focussed upon:
- Designing , orchestrating and delivering the required management reporting
- Leading a small agile development capability, ultimately integrating into OneMI
- Ensuring underlying process is automated , resilient , performance and accurate
- Championing an agile delivery methodology
- Effective communication capability: to peers; senior management; input to regulatory and investor events
Key capabilities
- Experience with delivery of MIS and BI systems technology ( Oracle / Tableau )
- Agile development experience ( preferably scrum )
- Proven delivery in a small team in a complex organisation
- Experience integrating in to multiple systems , preferably via versioned api’s and
