Responsibilities
• Responsible for issuing Piping Drawings for project-specific applications
• Review, Control, and own 3D Piping Models
• Perform Pipe Stress Analysis and Pipe Support Calculations as required
• Write Specifications as required
• Review vendor drawings as required
• Coordinating with various disciplines at all levels
• Co-ordinate with Piping Fabricators and Piping Insulation Vendors
• Knowledge of piping materials/Codes & standard works is an advantage
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Participate in project review meetings
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Pipe stress analysis
• 5 Years of offshore project experience is a must.
• Experience in Pipe stress and Pipe support calculations.
• Working knowledge of stress analysis tools like Caesar-II, AutoPipe & DNV
• Exposure to the latest American and European standards and codes.
Required Skills
• Technical expertise in stress analysis
• Ability to optimize piping layout
• Experience with 3D modeling
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of piping materials and codes
• Experience in coordinating with various disciplines
