Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Piping Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping design and engineering, with experience in planning, designing, and overseeing the installation of piping systems. As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that piping systems are designed and installed to meet safety standards, industry regulations, and project requirements.
• Design and Layout: Develop and design piping systems, including layouts, pipe supports, and details for various types of projects. Use software tools like AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar for drafting and design.
• Specifications and Standards: Create and review piping specifications, materials, and standards to ensure compliance with industry codes and project requirements.
• Engineering Analysis: Conduct stress analysis, hydraulic calculations, and other engineering assessments to ensure the integrity and functionality of piping systems.
• Coordination: Work closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical) and project teams to ensure the integration of piping systems with overall project designs.
• Quality Assurance: Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and other documentation. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems. Provide technical support during construction and resolve any issues that arise.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct inspections of existing piping systems, recommend maintenance or upgrades, and address any issues that may affect system performance.
• Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to design, installation, and maintenance of piping systems. Create reports and presentations as needed.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: [5 to 10 ] years of experience in piping design and engineering, with a proven track record in project execution and system design.
