Roles and Responsibilities For: Piping Engineer
Position: Piping Engineer
Reporting To: Manager- EBS
Experience
3-5 years as Piping Engineer
Software AutoCAD/ Navisworks
Added advantage of PDMS/E3D/Cadworx Etc.
Roles -:
Study the project input, understanding the client standard & requirements and provide best efforts to execution of the given job.
Collaborate with the checkers, Modelers, and drafters for the completion of the project and recommend improvements.
Maintaining accuracy in all piping/mechanical project and ensure compliance to all the specifications
Analyze all mechanical designs and prepare various concepts for piping designs and develop required mechanical drawings.
Ensure the timely delivery of the document
Following the SOPs for maintaining the accuracy of the project
Review of Model as per PID, Layout, Support Standard
Checking of Piping and Support GAD, Isometrics, Piping Support detail drawings, MTO
Checking of Nozzle Orientation. Equipment drawing, Instrument Hookup
Guidance and Monitoring of Modeler/Designers/Draftsman
Working along with Lead Engineer and able to independently prepare deliverables.
Preparing the RFI for any clarification
For all running Project, perform the necessary quality check during execution phase and also at final stage to ensuring the quality alignment with the client requirement.
Provide regular technical/ software training & SAG (Standard & Guidelines) to team members for the proper execution the project.
Carry out the process design activities using multiple Software platforms.
Identify the designing errors and RFI's related to the project
Checking for the details in the designing of the components, of the projects.
