Role Overview: As an Executive in Mechanical Engineering at Piramal, you will be responsible for supporting various mechanical engineering projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement mechanical solutions that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed engineering solutions and recommend optimal approaches.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to procure equipment, components, and materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project timelines.

• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations of mechanical systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in mechanical engineering, with a focus on safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PE license, PMP certification) preferred.

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of equipment design, HVAC systems, and process optimization.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools for design, analysis, and simulation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
