Distinguished, boutique Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm in TAMPA is looking for a PLAINTIFF'S Personal Injury Attorney to join their firm 100% REMOTELY! We represent individuals all over Florida who have suffered severe injuries as a result of a car or trucking accident, premises liability or other severe method of injury.
• This job is 100% REMOTE - BUT YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN 1 HOUR COMMUTE OF DOWNTOWN TAMPA BECAUSE MOST OF OUR CASES ARE HERE AND THERE MAY BE OCCASIONAL "IN PERSON" COURT, MEDIATIONS, DEPOS, TRIALS, Etc.
• IDEAL Candidates have 1+ year experience in either Plaintiff's or B.I. Defense Litigation in FLORIDA. We will still consider candidates from ALL OTHER PRACTICE AREAS if you WANT to learn P.I.!
JOB DUTIES: representing plaintiffs in high-value cases from initial pleadings, written discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediation, and trial. Preparing expert witnesses for depositions, taking expert witness depositions, meeting with clients, drafting demand letters, reviewing and analyzing medical records, identifying issues to investigate at doctor's depositions, attending court hearings, substantive motions, preparing and arguing MSJs (or responses thereto), complex legal research & writing, issuing/answering written discovery, settlement negotations, and managing all files assigned to you. Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload autonomously. Should be highly independent, organized and able to multi-task.
