Role Summary
The Associate Creative Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing community and corporate events from start to finish. This individual is responsible for creating mood boards, color schemes, and visual themes while proposing innovative activations, entertainment, giveaways, and other event requirements tailored to client briefs. They collaborate with designers and team members to ensure seamless execution of event concepts while maintaining alignment with budgets and production feasibility. Additionally, they compile all requirements together in polished, client-ready presentations and maintain a repository of research to inspire future projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Event Conceptualization & Design
- Transform initial briefs into innovative event concepts that align with client requirements and objectives.
- Develop mood boards, layouts and visual themes that set the tone for the event.
- Develop concept sketches to visually communicate ideas and ensure clarity for the team.
- Conceptualize innovative and creative activations, entertainment options, giveaways etc. tailored to event themes and client goals.
· Research & Trend Awareness
- Conduct in-depth research to stay updated with the latest design trends, activations, and event strategies.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive research repository to inspire and aid future event designs.
· Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with designers, visualizers, and other team members to bring concepts to life.
- Ensure smooth coordination with the production and design teams to align concepts with budgets and logistical feasibility.
· Presentation Development
- Create polished, client-ready presentations that showcase the event’s concept, design elements, activations, and overall vision.
- Ensure the presentations are engaging, professional, and aligned with the client’s brief.
· Target Achievement
- Meet regular targets by successfully conceptualizing and presenting a set number of events.
- Deliver concepts and presentations that drive client acquisitions and project approvals.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in event conceptualization, design, or creative strategy.
Creative Expertise: Strong skills in ideating concepts, mood boards, and creative event strategies.
Research Skills: Proficient in conducting and organizing in-depth research to inspire and support event designs.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) and familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and AutoCAD.
Trend Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, activations, and event strategies.
Collaboration: Excellent team player who can work cross-functionally with designers, production team, and other stakeholders.
Communication: Strong verbal, visual and written communication skills to present ideas effectively to clients and internal teams.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
