About The Role:

The Planning Officer role is in the Statutory Planning team within the Statutory Planning and Asset Policy group. The role is responsible for investigating, assessing and reporting on a range of land and planning matters, including site investigations, due diligence, statutory approvals, land assembly, and land and planning advice for the delivery of public works projects.

About You:

We are looking for a values-driven person with experience in land investigations and statutory planning approvals, and who has a desire to be involved in the delivery of projects for the WA community. An understanding of the European and Aboriginal heritage, and environmental approvals processes is also advantageous.

You will demonstrate personal leadership by taking personal accountability for delivering excellence and supporting your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn. The successful candidate will demonstrate the behaviours and mindsets in the context of Personal Leadership when undertaking the role.
