Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Plant Head Performance & Cost to lead factory operations in a growing mid-sized manufacturing setup currently operating at approximately 6000 tonnes per annum.
The organization is entering a structured scaling phase with defined targets to increase turnover and strengthen EBITDA margins over the next 2-3 years.
This role is critical for performance stabilization, cost control, and operational discipline.
The position requires a factory-floor-driven leader who has successfully improved production output, reduced wastage, and enhanced overall equipment effectiveness in a mid-sized plant environment.
The incumbent will work closely with supervisors, labour teams, maintenance, and production planning functions to build strong daily review systems and measurable KPIs.
Key focus areas include increasing sustainable production capacity, reducing yield losses, improving machine uptime, strengthening preventive maintenance systems, and driving cost transparency across departments.
The role demands rigorous execution, real-time performance monitoring, and structured problem-solving to improve operational contribution margins.
The ideal candidate brings 15-20 years of manufacturing experience with strong exposure to production control, maintenance systems, OEE improvement, and cost discipline.
A background in mechanical, production, or textile engineering is preferred. Long-term commitment and the ability to build systems in evolving environments are essential for success in this role.
