Experience
15+ Years of relevant experience in Bathware industry with intensive exposure in areas of plant Operations, Plant Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence
Should have worked on Excellence and capability building models
Exposure to Faucet Manufacturing set up will be an advantage
Technical Skill
Experience in process like Product & Tool Design, Plastic injection, compression & Blow molding, Pressure Die Casting, Gravity, Squeeze, Low pressure Die Casting for Brass, Al & Zn, Sheet Metal Process, Design and Development, Testing equipment, Jigs , fixtures , Assembly & warehouse etc.
Expertise in Budget Optimization and Asset Optimization
Manpower Management with respect to production optimization
Adequate knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Quality - Systems, Tools, Safety Standards, Statutory Compliances
Demonstrated understanding & application of Lean Manufacturing concepts
Plant Operations
To be accountable for the entire Plant Operations covering Production, Maintenance, Quality Dispatch and Manpower.
To ensure product quality and quantity as per the standard, optimum cost and OTIF, maximizing efficiency, optimizing production levels, and driving operational excellence across all lines of production
Strive for zero level rejection and ensure all regrind material is used in production.
To optimize cost performance of the plant, its periodic review and taking appropriate action
Preparation of annual budget and forecasts and ensure its utilization.
Ensure safety, maintain all compliance with IMS standards and Govt. regulations.
Strategy and Development
Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance
Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets
Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities
