About the role
In this key role you will be responsible for managing the operations of our Morrinsville Concrete plant to achieve business objectives and operational targets to maximise growth and profitability.
Day to day, you will manage plant operations to ensure concrete is supplied and delivered in accordance with schedules. You will ensure fleet utilisation is maximised, oversee stock management and COD processes and ensure that the plant operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.
This role requires keen attention to safety, a strong sense of responsibility, and a high-performance leader who fosters teamwork and cooperation, with strengths in analysis and problem solving whilst dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
About you
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience with a comparable employer within the concrete, aggregates, and related heavy manufacturing sectors
Engineering, Sales Management, Commerce or other suitable tertiary level qualification (preferred)
Planning, financial and people management experience
Operational experience in plant management and business development
Extensive plant management and operational experience
Excellent communication & attention to detail
Delegation of Authority and Responsibility
Analysis and Problem-Solving skills
Planning & Organising/Work Management skills
Quality Orientation
Health and Safety focused.
