Job Description
MEGADAIRY LIMITED is located in Henderson, Auckland. We are a leading milk powder processing factory committed to providing high-quality and safe products to our customers. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for two full-time PLANT MECHANIC to join our team.
As a PLANT MECHANIC, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out regular maintenance, repair, and fault-checking of factory machines and equipment.
Make sure all machines work well to avoid breakdowns and keep production running smoothly.
Do planned services and preventive checks to help machines last longer.
Find and fix mechanical problems quickly and effectively.
Keep clear records of all maintenance work and report major issues.
Follow all health and safety rules during repair and maintenance work.
Help with setting up and starting new machines in the factory.
Train production team members on the proper use and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
About you
Minimum two years of relevant experience required OR
NZQF Level 4 or above qualification.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment. Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
Physically fit with a clear criminal record.
