Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Plant Mechanic will assist in the rebuilding and repair of Large Engines. Your role will be disassembly, inspection and assembling of Engine components.


Location: South Guildford

Roster: Monday to Friday, 2 Weeks Day Shift, 2 Weeks Night Shift Roster (10.50 hours per day)


To be successful the following is required:

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Light Vehicle Mechanics, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Bus and Truck Mechanics)
Dogging and Forklift tickets are advantageous or willing to obtain
Caterpillar Dealership experience is desirable or Significant Engine Rebuild experience.
Experience in component rebuilding is highly advantageous and will guide to success within this role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
