Work on a range of plant and equipment
We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Mechanic to join our Fleet and Workshop. In this role you will be responsible for servicing, registering, maintenance and repairs of plant, fleet and machinery for all crews. You will work closely with a small, dedicated team to provide high quality service across the entire fleet.
Key responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment problems.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritise repairs.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
This role offers the opportunity for you to be part of a competent, high performance team, along with opportunities for ongoing training.
We offer a salary starting at $60,080 to $76,+08 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
