ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
Council is currently seeking enthusiastic candidates with high level competence in the operation of a grader to join its road construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating a grader and a range of other plant items, as well as conducting a variety of labouring duties, to support the completion of road construction projects.
To be successful you will bring

Class C driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission.
Demonstrated high level competence in the operation of a grader in a civil construction and maintenance working environment.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in civil construction duties associated with roads and roadsides.
Demonstrated good communication skills, both oral and written.
The rewards
A salary range of $61,500 to $70,500 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
+ day fortnight working arrangement. Council is currently trialling a range of flexible working options. Full time field staff will have the option to apply to work a compressed four day work week, subject to operational and team based requirements and approval.
