R2025/27 - Plant Operator/Labourer (Waste Recycling)

Full time permanent position

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking a suitable and motivated individual for the position of Plant Operator/Labourer (Waste Recycling). As a member of the team, you will be required to operate heavy plant & equipment at Council’s waste management facilities, including the Buronga Landfill, as well as the transfer stations at Wentworth, Pomona and Dareton. You may also be required to undertake a range of other duties including maintaining the sites in a clean and tidy condition, litter control, cleaning and upkeep of all building sites and amenities, and some level of customer service.

The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probation period has a commencing salary of $63,442.00 plus 12% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and ******* test.
