Job Description
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and removing old plaster or paint.
· Mix and apply plaster, cement, or other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and structures.
· Install and finish plasterboard (gyprock), including jointing, taping, and sanding.
· Smooth and level surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
· Measure, cut, and fit materials according to project requirements.
· Repair cracks, holes, and damaged plaster surfaces.
· Apply decorative finishes such as texture coatings or cornices.
· Follow workplace health and safety regulations on site.
Skills and Qualifications:
o Relevant experience as a Plasterer.
o Knowledge of surface preparation and plastering techniques.
o Ability to deliver smooth, high-quality finishes consistently.
o Experience working on residential and commercial projects.
o Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
o Ability to read Scopes of Work
o Good communication and teamwork skills.
o Certificate III in Plastering (minimum)
