You are responsible for
The Platform Analyst is a SME with Deep domain, functional and technical skills of related processes and platform(s). He/ She is involved in E2E application life cycle management teaming up with Business Process Owners, Solution Architects, Platform Solution Managers and Project Managers.
The activities for a Platform Analyst include ideation, feasibility studies, roadmap development, project initiation, estimation, design, user story creation, backlog creation, build, test, validation, deployment, maintenance, operations and decommissioning of the applications including continuous improvement cycles ensuring the right quality and performance levels.
The scope that a specific Platform Analyst is different for every single Platform Analyst and covers multiple dimensions, sometimes a Platform Analyst will be more a generalist cross processes/platforms and sometimes a Platform Analyst will be more a specialist with deep process/platform knowledge for a certain sub domain.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following.
SAP FICO & FSCM (S4 HANA) experience of at-least 12+ years with strong functional knowledge
At least two full end-to-end implementation experiences are mandatory.
Expertise in all domains in SAP FICO – New GL including Document Splitting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Automatic Payment Processing, Payment method workbench, Period End Closing, Electronic Bank Statement processing, Lockbox processing, Check processing, Rebate and Accrual processing, Revenue Recognition, Results Analysis, General controlling, basic knowledge in Project system, General Controlling for CO related settings; Cost Element and Cost Center Accounting – Planning, Budgeting, Assessment, Distribution etc.; Internal Order Accounting – Planning, Budgeting, Settlement etc.; Product Costing – Planning, Cost Object Controlling, Actual Costing, Material Ledger; CO-PA – Profitability Segments and Characteristics, Planning, Flow of Actual Values, Reports
Expertise in the FSCM modules - Credit Management – Master Data, Credit Limit Request, Credit Limit Check, DCD, Exposure updates, handling standing enhancements; Collections Management – Master Data and Organizational Structure, Strategies, Worklist generation and handling, Ways of establishing contacts with customers; Dispute Management – Status and Profile Management, Case type definitions, Workflows; Biller Direct; Integration between AR and FSCM modules.
Experience in translating high-level solutions into detailed technical design.
