We are looking for an experienced Platform Developer to join our team on a 12-month contractual basis, with the potential for extension. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable platforms, migrating SaaS workloads, and ensuring smooth operations within cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming and platform development, along with expertise in cloud infrastructure and networking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable platform solutions.
• Migrate SaaS workloads from VMware to OpenStack, ensuring efficient performance and minimal downtime.
• Write clean, reusable code in Go or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform features.
• Implement and optimize networking using Open vSwitch (OVS) or Open Virtual Network (OVN).
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance and security issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices.
Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in Go or Python.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS workload migration from VMware to OpenStack.
• Familiarity with networking concepts; experience with OVS or OVN is a plus.
Qualifications:
• 8-12 years of platform development experience.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and system migration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
