Job Role
We are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.
To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. A top-notch cloud engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a team player.

The Retail, Private Banking and Wealth Management ITO is accelerating transformation of agile banking services with DevOps and Agile practices, with an aim towards efficiency, automation, and improved transparency Delivery Sprint Teams will be at the core of delivering this agenda.
Delivery Sprint Teams will build and integrate components of the DevOps pipeline to deliver new banking capabilities, as well as refactoring of existing applications.
Sprint teams will all be experienced programmers, operations people and product owners who can develop and drive their capability development end-to-end. Breadth across both programming and system operations is required of all candidates and depth must be demonstrated in their specialization; this is a cross-functional team with cross over between development and operations with business.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
• Modifying and improving existing systems.
People and Talent
• Learn and understand relevant application functional and technical architecture and use the same effectively during development.
• Support developers by providing technical assistance and improve technical competency levels amongst team members.
• Passion and flair for technology, at home with team-oriented, collaborative and consultative environment.
• Proven skills in co-ordination, staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams.
• Prepare architecting solutions document, technical audits for the project.
• Should have the capability to handle more than one project at a same time.
• Follow documented SDLC life cycle as per quality management standards.
• Contribute to creation of standards and frameworks for the project.
• Ready to work on both development and project management.
• Participate in Requirement gathering and solution meetings.
• Prepare High / Low level technical design document.
• Track overall development and project management.
• Design modules based on Technical specs.
• Implement best practices.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in Java microservices and API development.
• Strong knowledge in Agile development (experience in CI / CD / TDD / BDD, SCRUM, KanBan, etc).
• 12 years of experience Software development and min 6 yrs in team Management and project management.
• Experience with leveraging advanced features and tools in Atlassian software suite.
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.
• Knowledge of all aspects of software design and development.
• Strong knowledge of risk and regulatory delivery.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Should have a good analytical skills.
• Experience with CI / CD systems.
• Client management skills.
• Experience with SysOps.
