Project Description: The Platform Engineer will be part of a dynamic team working on the Public Cloud Foundations projects. This initiative aims to enhance the Public Cloud Platform with improvements to streamline, secure, and scale the migration process for both new and existing applications. The project supports the client's strategic goal of achieving 75% cloud adoption by 2026 and involves developing features such as improved network connectivity, traffic management, security, compliance, and self-service tools.
Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help in design, development, and enhancement of the Public Cloud Foundations platform, migration and adaptation of applications to a cloud environment:
∙ Write code aligned with the new architecture: Develop and maintain code that adheres to the architectural standards and requirements of the platform. ∙ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues: Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges. ∙ Collaborate closely with client teams: Work with client teams to ensure alignment with goals and deliver high-quality solutions
Mandatory Skills: ∙ 7+ years of experience ∙ 3+ years of software development experience Golang is a MUST ∙ Hands-on experience with one of the major CSPs (AWS, Azure, GCP): 2+ years. ∙ Strong knowledge of Cloud Networking concepts including networking architecture, ingress/egress traffic management, load balancing, security ∙ Proficiency in implementing the security best practices: IAM, WAF, Secrets Management, Code Scanning, etc. ∙ Experience with developing automated tools for cloud environment management. ∙ Proficiency with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code. ∙ Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools. ∙ Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices: Including containerization, orchestration, and monitoring.
Nice-to-Have Skills: ∙ Experience with implementation of internal development platform is a plus ∙ Ability to create detailed and comprehensive documentation for onboarding and best practices. ∙ Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns. ∙ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. ∙ Experience working in distributed teams. ∙ Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with client teams.
