OPERATIONS
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted function that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
YOUR IMPACT
In your role on the risk management team for the US-based partnership cards business. You will be responsible for the development of new strategies, capabilities, business processes and solutions to prevent credit card customers from being victimized by fraud and protecting the firm from financial losses due to fraud. Your work impacts fraud loss number on P&L. The ideal candidate will be able to stay on top of fraud trends and develop fraud solutions needed to address current as well as evolving fraud threats. The candidate must be able to collaborate and influence across teams to deliver enterprise fraud initiatives and have experience working with Product, Strategy, Engineering, Decision Sciences, Legal, Compliance, Privacy and SIE.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategies to detect and prevent fraud with focus leveraging data-driven methods
Optimize fraud strategy and capabilities to provide a best-in-class customer experience and drive business growth
Partner with Product, Engineering and SIE teams to enable fraud capabilities and upgrade our ecosystem with cutting-edge fraud defence tools
Explore the evolving product offers from external vendors and research industry practices to continuously enhance fraud capabilities and solutions
Being hands-on, and closely involve in end-to-end capability/product development process
Work with Legal, Compliance and Privacy to ensure appropriate governance on strategy
Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring framework to stay on top of trend and generate insights to inform actions
Liaise with Operations teams to define effective and customer-friendly procedures leveraging advanced fraud capabilities and identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
2+ years of experience in fraud risk management with financial products
Working experiences with data science tools (Python, Spark preferred)
Managed projects and worked with technology teams to implement solution
Ability to work independently, but still be a strong team player
Attention to details and excellent oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree (Master or above) in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
Working knowledge of fraud risk vendors and technology in consumer finance or digital services industry
Product and/or program management experiences
