Introduction: The role is a hands on role and an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced team primarily responsible for the implementation of application into Production environments using the appropriate Jenkins pipelines, Production DevOps & Open Shift tools & processes. In addition, the role will involve: third line support to the APIs and applications to a high standard, Preparation steps, such as implementation governance preparation and implementation plan production. Working closely as a broader member of the DevOps team, to support tickets and drive devOps improvements and integration. The role involves working alongside the release team, stakeholders, developers, testers , Live support teams and other DevOp team members in a large, global engineering team using leading technologies and hosting solutions to ensure deliveries are fit for purpose and delivered in a controlled, managed and customer centric way. The role is a combination of deployment, development and support and there are many learning opportunities to further career progression, in a dev Ops cloud based environment. What will you be doing Manage the implementation of APIs into production cloud environments (on and off site environments) ensuring the smooth running of pipelines and adherence to implementation steps, with appropriate cross-checks to ensure they are deployed successfully and remain stable. Working closely with support teams to ensure smooth deployment and protection of service. This is a key role to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of change into production
