Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with a solid background in Manufacturing and a drive for automation to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in optimizing manufacturing processes through automation, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing systems, automation technologies, and process improvement techniques.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in automation technologies such as PLCs, robotics, HMIs, SCADA systems, and control systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and training staff.
• Proficiency in CAD software, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements for automated systems.

Responsibilities
• Develop, design, and implement automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and process improvement.
• Integrate and configure automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production workflows.
• Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for automated processes.
• Lead automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for automated systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for automation equipment.
• Train maintenance and production staff on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
• Ensure automation processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for automated systems.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Generate reports on automation performance, including efficiency, downtime, and cost savings.
