· Title – Sr or ASM PLC programmer
· Experience – 6 to 10 Years
· Skills – Ladder Logic (PLC Programing language), PLC Automation, AutoCAD, EntherNet (or other communication Protocols)
· Role – Design, architect and develop PLC or Scada as a programmer and automate the systems in Waste Water Treatment client companies.
The Role: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Automation (PLC Programmer)
Candidate is responsible for Design, Engineering, and selection, of PLC and SCADA systems.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Selection of communication protocols, integration of field instruments to PLC and SCADA systems.
PLC Programming and testing.
Establishment of remote connectivity, remote monitoring.
Preparation of Engineering documentations pertaining to PLC and automation systems, Operation philosophies, test procedures, functional loop schematics, system architectures, drawings etc .
To attend meetings, coordination with all stake-holders with respect to engineering for smooth implementation of project.
Conceptualize and operationalize the solution and document them for development.
Hook up of field instruments to PLC system.
Knowledge of configuring and interfacing VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) and Pump Controls
Experience in commissioning and interfacing instruments with control system
Able to work in multi-disciplinary and remote-located teams.
Formulate a plan strategy for the engineering activities in order to achieve highest efficiency in delivery of documents/drawings.
Identify, study, propose, and implement area for improvement in the field of PLC ,SCADA, Networking engineering to enhance skills and optimize solutions and reliability.
Develop the plan, scope and lead the automation works to ensure completion within the specified window.
Engineering deliveries in scheduled time in planned way.
Benchmarking competitor product/solutions that are being offered by competition to customers in the region.
Releasing of technical specification for procurements, coordination, extending support in procurements.
Understand and provide end to end solution for a problem, be there in the entire project pertaining to PLC and SCADA.
Developing of solutions, writing of programs, implementation etc
Shall be capable of handling automation activities pertaining to whole project.
Support for installation, testing and commissioning of system.

Skills :
· Strong knowledge in various reputed makes of PLC’s and SCADA,
· Design, program, implement, test and document Automation applications.
· Develop software and hardware design specifications.
· Knowledge of instruments and valves etc is an added advantage.
Working Knowledge of Industrial Networking & Protocols like Control Net, EtherNet/Modbus and DeviceNet etc, Interfacing, open protocol and field bus communication.
Should be able to interpret customer requirement and design and develop the functional documents.
Must have knowledge on Control and IT layer (PLC, Scada, OPC, Historian and Reporting system)
Should be aware of latest Interface technology and communication devices.
Creating detailed documentation or manuals for functional projects.
Workable knowledge in Autocad or any other drawing making tool.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Education – Min BE degree in Electronics and communication or Computer science Engineering or comparable/similar education.
Experience - At least 7 to 8 years professional experience in similar works. Knowledge of HVAC application, plumbing and booster pumps application would be added advantages.
Be proactive in understanding product/service and the implications of new features with peer engineers or self-training.
Must be conversant with latest technology, updated to latest market.
Awareness of applicable standards, updated with latest applicable practices.
Willing to travel and work from Client site when required.
Language skills:
· Good oral and written command of English language.
Special knowledge:
· Hands on Experience with various makes of PLC and SCADA system.
· Knowledge in programming, trouble shooting in PLC and SCADA.
· Flexibility, team spirit, independent working and communication skills
· Fair knowledge on Instruments.
