In recent years Vestas has aligned it's PLM foundation based on PTC applications and established robust foundation for our Design application from PTC and integrations with other application like SAP. The department works across the entire value chain and is hence heavily interlinked to turbine development, sales and service providing valuable data analytics transforming innovative technologies and concepts into new products and service offerings.
The PLM & CAD Development Team is a global department with a staff of more than 10 employees and 20-30 consultants placed across two continents. We are responsible for HOW we configure, integrate and customize a PLM system PTC Windchill to support the business execution through software PLM Development focusing on processes and interacting the Global IT who is responsible for IT systems Infrastructure.
For this department we search for a PLM Specialist to ensure development of our PTC applications and integrations with other PLM related applications to take Vestas further into the next generation of PLM built on Industry 4.0.
Responsibilities
• Join as team member of Windchill system administrators
• Act as Tech Lead in business development projects primarily related to PTC software
• Specify requirements for new solutions to be developed by consultants
• Act as team member to check the quality of new Windchill software and solutions before implementation
• Ensure that documentation and training material is made for end users and supporters
• Take role as second line supporter in the Vestas Technical Helpdesk to assist after implementation
• Participate in defining the strategic PLM roadmap at Vestas
