Job Description
The PLM Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Product Life Management systems within an organization. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of PLM solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities-
• Project Planning and Design: Define project scope, establish timelines, determine resource needs, and set milestones for PLM projects.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of PLM professionals, including developers, consultants, and analysts.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Implementation Oversight: Ensure the PLM solutions are implemented effectively and optimized for the client’s business processes.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for PLM systems after project completion.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in the PLM domain, with a strong understanding of PLM systems and their implementation.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLM software (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill), MS Office, MS Project, and other project management tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
