Job Description
3+ years relevant working experience in Databases primarily Oracle and PostgreSql.
1. Installation, HA/DR Configuration, PGBouncer and Troubleshooting of PostgreSQL +.4 / +.6/ 10/ 11/ 12 databases.
2. Perform backup and recovery for PostgreSql.
3. Perform cross database data migration and troubleshooting.
4. Perform periodic Database refresh from Production.
5. Monitoring of database using various tools (Nagios, SCOM, grafana, pgbadger report).
6. Knowledge of cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS) DB services.
7. Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
8. Experience with establishing and integrating development, test and production environments.
+. Current or actively pursuing related professional certifications.
10. PostgreSQL tools installation, Configurations PGAdmin III, IV, rep manager, PGPOOL, PGBouncer, pgbadger.
11. Used pg_dump, pg_resotre, pg_basebackup,po_copy and other PostgreSQL built-in packages.
12. Check the load Balancing and Replication and connection.
13 Re-indexing and Vacuuming on Database from time to time.
14. Knowledge on patroni, docker, etcd.
15. Good hands on manage pg distributed tables.
16. Experience on Linux and Windows platforms.
17. Very good SQL and Shell scripting knowledge, cron jobs, database jobs.
18. Write Shell script/Batch Script for monitoring, backup and day to day DBA automation.
1+. Work with new solution, design for new requirements and perform POC as per business requirement
20. Experience to work in DBA pool and supported multiple clients 247 Production Database.
21. Ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects, and function in a highly productive environment.
22. Good with analytical and problem solving skills.
23. Self-driven with excellent command in both spoken and written English.

• Experienced as an Oracle database Administrator with specialization in ASM and RAC.
• Good expertise in Oracle s/w installation, configurations DB upgrades/patching/migrations in Oracle 11g, 12c and 1+c.
• Oracle RAC administration & Configuration /backup recovery/performance trouble shooting.
• Working experience in Oracle RAC clusters, Data guard, 10g/11g/12c/1+c Grid control.
• Experience to perform impdp/expdp at schema, table and database level.
• Develop archival, backup, recovery and DB refresh strategy.
• Perform database/instance tuning including monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing performance of the databases.
• Excellent in DB troubleshooting skills and Performance Tuning, AWR, ADDM.
• OEM configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Flashback & Rollback.
