Responsibilities
Plumbers perform skilled plumbing work to maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others
This position requires working with inmates in a prison setting

Incumbent will respond to repair orders, prioritize, diagnose, estimate costs, acquire materials through purchase order system, make repairs, document time and material costs, implement a preventative maintenance schedule and perform maintenance as required, install water supply, waste, steam and gas lines and related fixtures and fittings in accordance with the applicable plumbing codes, review blueprints and design and lay-out plumbing systems, serve as lead worker and trainer for free staff and inmate crew in prison setting, assist contractors when required and other duties as assigned
Typical work shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Extended hours may be required on short notice in cases of emergency

Plumbers perform skilled plumbing work to maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment.

This position is located At Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, NV. This position requires working with inmates in a prison setting.
