Job Description
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
Weld and solder pipes as necessary for system installations or repairs.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing tasks.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
Experience with commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials to job sites.
Ability to weld pipes effectively for secure connections.
Familiarity with carpentry skills can be advantageous in certain plumbing projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
