Job Description
A skilled tradesperson installs, maintains and repairs piping systems for water distribution, waste removal and venting in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. They ensure plumbing systems function correctly and comply with building codes.
Key Responsibilities
• Installation: Install piping systems and plumbing fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on plumbing systems, including cleaning drains, inspecting pipes and fixtures for leaks or corrosion, and making necessary repairs or replacements.

• Plumbing Inspections: Inspect new or existing plumbing systems to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Estimation and Planning: Estimate material and labor costs for plumbing projects, order supplies, and plan project timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues, offering professional recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Safety and Code Compliance: Follow all relevant safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards when performing plumbing work.
• Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with new plumbing technologies, techniques, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development.
