Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
Use hand tools, power tools, safely and effectively.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repairs.
Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks.
Troubleshoot issues using basic math skills to determine the best course of action.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related construction activities.
Experience
Proven experience in plumbing preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, and schematics reading is advantageous.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and blueprint reading is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Prior experience working with schematics and assembly instructions will be beneficial. This position requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
