Key Responsibilities:

Perform the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, valves, and equipment in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to determine layout and installation procedures for plumbing systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing plumbing systems, identifying the root cause of problems and recommending effective, code-compliant solutions.
Install water supply lines, drainage systems, vent piping, gas lines, and associated plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, and pumps.
Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes and fittings using appropriate hand and power tools.
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local, provincial, and national plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct cleaning of drain lines for sinks, showers, bathtubs, toilets, sewer lines and storm drainage as required.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, labour hours, and completed work for billing and documentation purposes.
Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service, communicating effectively with clients to explain plumbing issues and proposed solutions.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dependability.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including company vehicles, tools, and job sites.
Collaborate with other trade professionals, contractors, and project managers to complete projects efficiently and to high standards of quality.
Qualifications:

Valid and current Red Seal Plumber License.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on plumbing service experience, with proven expertise in both renovation and service work preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and installation techniques, including water, sewer, and gas systems.
Strong understanding of local, provincial, and national plumbing codes and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them accurately in the field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to analyze complex plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing top-tier customer service.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and service calls in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all work environments.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
