Plumber (Public Sector)

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Plumber for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Coleraine site.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil a requirement to:

To undertake all plumbing work as necessary in the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock, including, bathroom suites/ wet rooms, kitchen replacements, general pipework, fitting cylinders, tanks, radiators, sink-tops, immersion heaters, shower trays and units and any other associated works.
To undertake, as and when required, first and second fix plumbing work.
To perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify repair and or replace.
To complete tasks outside their trade where required for operational purposes.

Requirements

Have successfully completed an apprenticeship in plumbing (either time served or skills based).
Have a minimum of one year's relevant* post apprenticeship experience working in a plumbing environment
Can demonstrate practical knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety requirements and legislation in a maintenance/repair environment
A full current driving licence to enable the post holder to carry out the required duties of this post
Remuneration
£27,694 - £32,597 plus Van & Fuel Card.
