Linbeck Contractors is a privately owned company providing civil construction, repairs, licensed plumbing, vacuum excavation, under road boring and traffic management services to asset owners within the gas & water industry. We pride ourselves on working together as one team to ensure we deliver quality services. We are now looking to expand our team with civil water & gas technicians.
The Role
Area of operations we are seeking Plumbers / Civil Plumbers / Drainers / Pipe layers to conduct routine maintenance on Sydney Water assets.
The roles are responsible for providing civil construction, repairs and maintenance on water or gas assets. Other duties include locating services in the ground, excavation of services, operating plant equipment and adhering to safe work practices. You must be team orientated, able to work without supervision, good at troubleshooting and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
Due to the nature of our work, we recognise that on-the-job training is required to be successful in this role. We are seeking applicants that are looking for a change from general plumbing works and are looking to advance their knowledge in infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities as the Skilled Plumbers / Civil Plumbers / Drainers / Pipe layers are but not limited to:
Construction, Repairs and maintenance of water services
Construction, Repairs and maintenance of water mains
Water Main Renewals, Trenchless Pipe bursting, Pe Butt Welding, Horizontal Drilling, Transfer Water and Fire Services, Non-Destructive Excavation
Section 73 water and Sewer Works - Sewer Encasements, Sewer Sidelines and Sewer Junctions and Mains To Meter
Pressure Enquiries, Sewer Inspections, Pipe Freezing, Smoke Testing, Temporary Water Mains
Assist or lead plumber for our project works
Comply with onsite, company & client safety protocols
Work a rotating on-call emergency response and after-hours planned works roster

The Hills: The Hills, Holroyd, Parramatta
To be considered, the following would be ideal but not essential:
Previous Plumbing experience is ideal
Civil Plumbing or Repairs & Maintenance experience on Sydney Water assets is highly preferred
Previous civil labouring / Plumbing and drainage / pipelaying experience is ideal
Must have a White card and unrestricted driver’s licence
Must be team-oriented, have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn
Professional work ethic and presentation
