Responsibilities
Perform plumbing repairs and light install work to existing fixtures
Assist in reviewing plumbing work, and best practices
Completes general maintenance work requests as assigned
Completes inspections when assigned to a zone to ensure that facility and equipment are in good repair and functional
Oversees ordering of stock and/or parts to minimize downtimes
Participates and makes self-available as part of the snow removal team and may be required to work extensive hours
Completes work requests for repairs related to the appropriate trade of the mechanic as appropriate
Submits properly completed work requests at the end of each shift identifying 8 hours of work completed
Calls vendors for technical support, pricing and submits part and supply orders to the Plant Supervisor/Manager to minimize downtime
Includes stocking parts and supplies when they arrive
Installs new plumbing equipment and/or services in accordance with current national and local plumbing codes
Assist other trades in trouble shooting and repairing equipment as needed
