Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing service. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation projects
Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
Assist with carpentry, HVAC work, or other related trades as needed during projects
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Skills
Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately for proper installation and repairs
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
Experience with commercial driving preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, construction sites, and plumbing work
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
