Job Description
Responsibilities
Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions.
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local building codes and regulations.
Work with other construction professionals such as electricians and HVAC technicians.
Keep work areas clean and safe, following health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience as a plumber or in similar role in the plumbing industry.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
Valid plumbing license.
Valid white card.
Reliable transportation for daily commute.
Preferred Skills:
Inground experience (Sewer, Stormwater, soak wells).
Apartment block experience – Tubes and stacks
Ability to work with advanced plumbing technology and smart systems.
Certification in plumbing systems and safety procedures.
