Job Title: Plumbing and Ventilation Engineer
Location: Romford (RM1 2PT)
Salary: Competitive + Company Van and Fuel Card
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Role:
As our Plumbing and Ventilation Engineer, you will carry out installations on extensions and existing properties in East London and parts of Essex, Close to the M25.
You will be expected to:
• Carrying out installations in tenanted properties
• Always consider the client/tenant. Customer Service is extremely important to both the Construction Department and the business
• Make recommendations for further works where necessary
• Ability to complete relevant paperwork or online forms are a requirement
• Maintaining, servicing and repairing various types of Water systems, Drainage systems as well as Ventilation systems on site
The Candidate:
To be considered for our Plumbing and Ventilation Engineer role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Skills:
• Possess comprehensive technical skills
• Good interpersonal and communicating skills, flexible approach to work / Clients' requirements
• Good organisational skills and have a positive attitude
• Logical thinker in fault finding situations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working within a team environment. Able to contribute to group success whilst willingly following instructions of others
• Able to work unsupervised and independently
• Self-motivated and disciplined
• Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements, willing to accept change
• The ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience:
• Extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification
• Comprehensive knowledge of most Drainage systems
• Good all-round knowledge of Waste pumps, pipework install & repairs
• Use and ability to train in the use of PDA devices and company software
Qualifications:
• Level 2 NVQ / City and Guilds in plumbing or relevant experience
• NICEIC Domestic Ventilation (Preferred)
• BPEC Water Supply (Water fittings) Regs:1+++
• CSCS Card (Desirable but not essential)
• Full clean driving license
