Responsibilities
Develop design document standards and exemplars per clients current workflow utilizing Revit MEP fabrication, Revizto, Navisworks, BlueBeam, and AutoCAD
Develop piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) or single line diagram
Present design in 2D and 3D at cross-discipline coordination meetings
Create customized revit family parts from scratch or product spec
Using Revit software to create 3-D models of plumbing systems
Designing plumbing systems for both new and renovated factory areas
Prepare plan sections, detail drawings, create spool sheets, bill of materials, hanger lists, P&IDs, etc
Coordinate and detail 3D plumbing systems
Specifying equipment selections and system sizing per design calculations
Applying various building codes to meet city, state, and national construction requirements
Work independently while partnering with and receiving direction and guidance from Plumbing Lead
Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, managing links, and historic versioning
Attend coordination meetings, communicate with other trades, and create reports as required
Assist in clash detection of coordination models
Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings
Provide technical support for existing projects and field service
