Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline
1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience
Familiarity with plumbing and mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues
Familiarity with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design
Highly familiar with relevant plumbing and mechanical system and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Plumbing Designer for one of our (4) Florida offices, including Orlando, FL, Miami, FL, Sunrise, FL or Tampa, FL. This role will actively participate in the full project cycle with a focus on complex sector work such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, labs, and commercial high rise projects from the design phase through the final construction close-out. Our Engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects with our practice providing design services for over 30 million square feet of medical facilities.

Your Impact
• With minimal supervision, assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction.
