Job Description
Alaska Mechanical, Inc. is looking for an experienced and energetic Mechanical Project Manager to join our competitive team.
Position will supervise the construction of a project, including its subcontractors. This individual will be responsible for the successful completion of projects and ensure they are completed on-time and on-budget; including supervising the day-to-day operations of the project, scheduling materials, tools, equipment, estimate and negotiate change orders, prepare/review submittals, maintain project controlling documents, be professional and uphold AMI core values, assist in the bid process and the procurement of new work.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager on projects ranging from $200k to $3 million; ability to accurately estimate mechanical work; strong written and oral communications skills; advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; excellent customer relations skills; Very strong pre-planning and organizational skills.
Tired of working in the field? For the right candidate management training would be provided for this office position in lieu of project management experience. Licensed journeymen plumber with at least 10 years supervisor experience would be required.
The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and have verifiable good references.
Competitive Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 Yearly Salary Based on Experience
