Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Plumbing Project Manager/Supervisor to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple Commercial plumbing projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage all phases of plumbing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Contract Management: Confidently interpret, administer, and manage contracts for commercial construction projects.
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and quality outcomes.
Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and manage procurement of materials and services.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in plumbing project management within the construction industry.
Contract Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience in managing commercial contracts, including head contracts and subcontract agreements.
Education: Relevant trade qualifications; a Project Management certification is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
Licenses: Valid driver's license; plumbing license preferred.
